Bill & Sarah Walsh
Retired Coast Guard, Family of Seven Running a Family Bed & Breakfast & Cabins
Bill concluded his remarkable military career, retiring from the U.S. Coast Guard in 2020 after almost 30 years of dedicated service, which encompassed more than 12 family relocations. Sarah, the cherished heartbeat of the family, dedicated herself to instilling Christian values, promoting community engagement, and fostering a commitment to continuous self-improvement among their children.
In pursuit of a shared vision, Bill and Sarah acquired Misty Mountain Inn. Their goal is to operate the bed and breakfast as a family enterprise, with each member, including their son Trey and Kyleigh, their new daughter-in-law who recently tied the knot in the mountains, actively participating and learning various aspects of the business.

Guided by the mantra "Rest, Renew, and Trail On," we are dedicated to providing exceptional accommodations for those seeking a serene mountain retreat with abundant recreational opportunities. As guests explore the trails, reside in our cozy cottages, and embark on outdoor adventures in the mountains, we want them to prioritize rest and renewal, leaving our inn feeling more invigorated than when they arrived.
