As we're able, we welcome early check-ins and late checkouts for an additional fee. For our cherished Misty Direct Book returning guests, this perk is complimentary, subject to cabin availability. Otherwise, if you arrive ahead of schedule, we encourage you to explore the area: the shops and dining in historic downtown Blairsville, a nearby winery, a riverside picnic at Meeks Park, or a brisk hike at Neels Gap.

Yes. You can expect anywhere from 15 to 1000 Mbps depending on the cabin.

Cabin fireplaces are available seasonally, October 1 through March 31. Guests are responsible for purchasing their own firewood for outdoor fire pits or fireplaces. Firewood bundles are available at many local stores and gas stations.

Every cabin bed is made up and ready to use with linens, blankets (winter), and pillows. Just let us know if you need extra linen for a sofa bed. We also provide one bath towel, hand towel, and washcloth per person. Fresh towels can be provided for stays over 4 days; otherwise there's an $8 fee per change-out, which you can add to your stay in advance or through the self-service link in your booking email.

If you're planning to tube, swim, or chase a waterfall, bring extra towels of your own.

We can't guarantee we'll be able to locate and return a lost item, but we keep forgotten items for 30 days after departure. There's a minimum $25 handling fee plus packing and postage if we mail something back. Please reach out as soon as you realize something's missing.

Sporadic, like most of the mountains. T-Mobile tends to work well and Verizon is okay. Cabins don't have landlines, so we recommend turning on wifi calling on your phone.

Body soap, shampoo, and a toothbrush. Coffee is covered: every cabin has a Keurig with K-cups plus a drip maker and filters. Bring your own towels if you're swimming or tubing. If you plan to use the fireplace, kiln-dried firewood lights easier and burns cleaner. Beyond that, just anything that makes your stay more comfortable.

Yes, every cabin is within walking distance of the others. Great for groups who want to be close by but still keep their own space and privacy.

Some do, both inside and out. Please look closely at each cabin's photos on its listing. Guests' opinions on what counts as "too many stairs" vary quite a bit, so if you're unsure, just ask us before booking.

Each cabin is stocked with the essentials:

  • 2- or 4-burner stove with oven
  • Apartment- to full-size fridge with freezer
  • Dishware, silverware, and wine glasses
  • Can opener / corkscrew
  • Pots, pans, and cooking/grilling utensils
  • Kitchen knives
  • Drip coffee maker and filters
  • Paper towels, dish soap, and dish cloths

Some cabins carry more inventory than others. Cooking inside on the stovetop or outside over a fire is both fine. Just keep pots and pans to the stovetop only, and note that outdoor cooking isn't allowed during a burn ban.

For added peace of mind, we offer Cancel For Any Reason travel insurance through our booking partner, ResNexus. No questions asked, no documentation required. It adds roughly 10–12% to your lodging cost. If you'd rather skip travel protection, review our full cancellation terms on the Policies page.

Yes, Misty Mountain's water comes from a well fed by a mountain spring, and it's safe to drink.

No, we don't offer EV charging onsite, and 120V outlets aren't permitted to be used for charging. Several public charging stations are a short drive away in Blairsville.

Two nights, on all dates except some holidays. If we have availability closer to your desired date, we'll sometimes consider a shorter stay. Just give us a call.

We're currently only accepting group bookings for the Lodge. If you'd like to rent a single room, call us anytime within 30 days of your desired stay and we'll see what we can do.

We don't currently serve breakfast, though it returns in 2027. We'll confirm nearer the time whether it's served in the lodge or brought out to the cabins. We found it hard to keep pace with all the great dining options now around town, and most guests prefer to eat out anyway. That said, enjoy our coffee bar and lighter fare during your stay, and feel free to use the kitchen. Ask us anytime for a local recommendation, or just sleep in and head out for an early lunch.

No pets at the Lodge. To accommodate guests with disabilities, we do welcome service dogs as defined by the ADA, not emotional support or other non-ADA animals.

Yes, most cabins have their own fire pit, and there's a large communal one in the common area. Fire bans occasionally go into effect due to wildfire risk at the state or county level; if one's active during your stay, we'll let you know at arrival.

Yes, internet and high-speed wifi throughout the property, and every TV is smart-enabled for streaming. Just bring your own streaming logins.

Every suite includes fresh towels and linens, a Smart TV, body wash and bar soap, and glassware. Some suites also feature a towel warmer. Let us know when booking if that's a priority for you.

Yes, as long as room capacity isn't exceeded and noise stays reasonable. Any guest not staying at Misty should plan to depart by 9 PM.

We ask that you avoid staining wines like red or merlot in your room. Lighter fare and drinks are welcome, or enjoy them in our designated dining area or on the front porch.

We don't have fully accessible rooms, but one room is located on the first floor, which may suit guests who prefer to avoid stairs. Contact us to talk through your specific needs so we can help figure out if we're a good fit.
