Required Before Arrival
Check-in is after 3:00 PM. Check-out is at 10:00 AM. If you'll be arriving late, please confirm you've received your cabin's location and door code information in advance.
Children are welcome with an accompanying adult. All cabins have some type of stairs, inside for a loft or second story, or on the front porch, which could be dangerous for smaller children. Cabins are not child-proofed; please check each space for potential hazards.
With the exception of Dancing Bear and Trailside Retreat, our cabins are dog-friendly, up to 2 dogs per cabin. There's a one-time $50 dog fee (covers up to 2 dogs), not charged again on future stays provided there's no damage or excessive cleaning required. A pet waiver is required to finalize your stay (link above).
Reservations are only accepted from responsible adults at least 21 years of age, no exceptions. The guest who books remains responsible for everyone in their party for the full stay. Cabin capacities are set by the listing description; exceeding capacity isn't permitted without advance permission from Misty Mountain.
A 50% deposit is due at booking, with the remaining balance due 30 days before arrival. Reservations made through a third-party platform (Airbnb, VRBO, etc.) follow that platform's cancellation policy instead of the terms below.
Add optional Cancel for Any Reason travel protection at checkout for extra peace of mind. It allows you to cancel for any reason and receive up to 75% reimbursement of your total paid, even outside our standard policy.
As a small, family-run business, last-minute cancellations significantly affect our ability to rebook.
A $125 hold may be placed on your card 15 days before your reservation, and released approximately 3 days after checkout.
We ask every guest to help minimize noise throughout the day, and to honor a 10 PM–8 AM quiet period so everyone gets the chance to rest.
All cabins have wood-burning fireplaces, seasonally available October 1 through April 1. Seasoned firewood is sometimes available for purchase on-site or locally. Please don't forage wood from the surrounding woods. Basic TV programming is provided through Dish, and cabins are equipped with internet suitable for most streaming needs, though cellular reception can't be guaranteed.
All cabins are strictly non-smoking indoors; smoking is allowed on porches and decks (please dispose of cigarette butts properly). By Georgia law, no alcohol for anyone under 21, and no house parties. Violations mean immediate eviction with loss of all money paid.
Deer, coyote, bear, turkey, and the usual North Georgia mountain insects may be encountered. There's no refund for the presence of typical local wildlife.
For after-hours emergencies (no heat, no water, a safety issue), call the number provided at check-in. Non-emergency issues (TV, gas fireplace, etc.) should be called in during business hours. For a medical emergency, call 911. Misty Mountain can't guarantee against mechanical failure of HVAC, TVs, or Wi-Fi, but we'll work to resolve any issue as quickly as possible.
Check-in is any time after 3:00 PM. We ask that you plan to arrive by 8:00 PM if possible, and let us know in advance if you'll be later. Checkout is at 10:00 AM.
Trackrock Hollow Lodge isn't equipped to accept children under 13, unless you've booked the entire Lodge.
Because most rooms have carpet, pets aren't permitted at the Lodge. We happily accommodate ADA service animals. Please review our service animal statement and waiver, linked above.

Please only flush the toilet paper provided. No feminine hygiene products or foreign objects. Guests may be charged for damage caused by misuse. There's no daily housekeeping; one set of towels and linens is included, but missing or damaged items are charged at replacement value.
EV charging isn't permitted anywhere on the property. Our electrical systems aren't set up for it, and unauthorized charging creates real safety and load concerns. A $30 charge applies if detected. Public charging is available a few miles away in Blairsville, Young Harris, Hiawassee, and Helen. Check PlugShare or ChargePoint before you arrive.
Our 4–5 person hot tub is in a shared common area, open 1:00–10:00 PM daily when in season (September 1–January 5; closed January 6–March 15). Not for children under 13 or infants. Please shower before use, wear only clean swimwear, keep the cover latched when unsupervised, and never use the tub under the influence of alcohol or drugs. No glass, ever.
Guests may not hold meetings, ceremonies, or gatherings without advance coordination with Misty Mountain. Owners or designated agents may access the property for repairs, emergencies, or inspection, with as much notice as reasonably possible. As with the cabins, deer, coyote, bear, and typical North Georgia wildlife may be encountered on the property. There's no refund for their presence.
