Ten miles from Hiawassee and about twenty minutes from Lake Chatuge: six private cabins and a four-room lodge on one quiet mountain property in Blairsville.
Hiawassee is a ten-mile drive from Misty Mountain, and Lake Chatuge, the reason most people come, is about twenty minutes. That's close enough to spend the whole day on the water and still be back on a porch in the trees before dark, which is a better arrangement than it sounds.
The cabins are in Blairsville's Trackrock Valley: six private cottages and a four-room lodge on one family-owned property, with wood-burning fireplaces, full kitchens, firepits, and wooded grounds around them. It's quieter here than lakeside lodging, usually cheaper, and there's somewhere to walk the dog when you get back.
Every one of them is on the same property, ten minutes from downtown Blairsville. Pick the one that fits your trip.
