The First-Floor Cottage by the Pond
Serenity Cottage sits apart from the others, closer to the spring-fed pond than any other building at Misty Mountain. It's a first-floor studio with flat access: you park right by the door, so bags, groceries, and a cooler come in on one trip across level ground rather than up a hill or a flight of steps.
It's a cottage, not a two-story cabin, and that's the whole appeal. The queen bed, fireplace, and kitchenette are all on the one floor, with the pond visible from the door. A small footprint, but an easy one: no loft ladder, no second story, nothing to haul upstairs after a long drive up from Atlanta.
It's the cottage we point older guests toward first, along with anyone who'd rather not deal with stairs and anyone arriving after dark. If steps are a real concern for someone in your party, give us a call before you book and we'll describe the approach exactly. It's also our most popular cottage in Blairsville, and usually the first to go. Book early. It fills fastest for a reason.
