Dragonfly is the cabin set furthest back from the road, reached by a run of stairs up the hillside that does a good job of leaving the rest of the property behind. By the time you're on the porch, the only sound is whatever's moving in the trees.
Inside, it's a single open room: a king bed at one end, a full kitchen and living space at the other, so nothing about the layout gets in the way of the view out the windows. The covered porch is where most guests end up spending their evenings, out of the weather and out of earshot of anyone else on the property.
It's built for two, no more. That's the whole appeal: no shared walls, no downstairs neighbors, just a private hillside and a kitchen stocked well enough to skip a night in town.

A Pet-Friendly Cabin Tucked Into the North Georgia Trees
Dragonfly is a pet-friendly cabin set back on the hillside at Misty Mountain, a family-owned property in the Trackrock area outside Blairsville, Georgia. It's reached by a set of stairs, which is worth knowing up front if you're traveling with an older dog; guests who'd rather not manage steps usually pick Serenity Cottage instead.
For anyone comparing pet-friendly cabin rentals in North Georgia: two dogs are welcome here, the dog fee is a one-time $50 covering both, and it isn't charged again on return stays as long as nothing needs repair or extra cleaning. A short pet waiver is signed before you arrive.
The cabin sleeps three around a king bed, with a full kitchen, an open living area, and a private covered porch that's the whole point of the place — a chair, a coffee, a dog asleep on the boards, and the trees doing the rest. Brasstown Bald, Lake Nottely, and a long list of waterfall trails are all a short drive out.
