If you are looking to have some water fun on a sunny day, ​we are located between Notely Lake and Chatuge Lake, both offer fun-filled activities. Visit our uncongested lakes and rent a boat, go canoeing, fishing, kayaking, or whitewater rafting. You can also spend the afternoon swimming, swinging from Davenport Mountain's swing, or for the wild ones - cliff jumping. The outdoor and local activities available to visitors are boundless.

Hiking Trails & Mountain Tops

We are minutes away from many stunning hiking trails, the Vogel State Park, Chattahoochee National Forest, Meeks Park, & Brasstown Bald - the highest point in the U.S. state of Georgia. Chasing Waterfalls

The TLC song says, "don't go chasing waterfalls" but in this case it is so worth the chase when you see the waterfall views! In the local area you can find the popular Helton Creek Falls, Trahlyta Falls, and DeSoto Falls. Happy waterfall chasing! 


Lakes & Water-fun

Visit the hidden gems Notely Lake and Chatuge Lake to rent a boot, canoe, or paddle board for some lake action. You can also go fishing, whitewater rafting, or just tube on the water and enjoy the mountains views.

Riding a horse through the mountains and hills is a unique and soothing experience. We are minutes away from riding stables that offer guided tours. Stables even offer horse camps, moonlight rides, hayrides, and wilderness rides through the mountains.

If you are a golfing enthusiast you are in the right place as North Georgians love their golf courses. You can visit the popular and highly ranked Butternut Creek Golf Course. It is open to the public and provides an 18-hole golf course with beautiful mountains in the backdrop.
